Harris Sliwoski Celebrates Attorney Fred Rocafort’s New Appointments

Harris Sliwoski is pleased to announce that attorney Fred Rocafort was recently elected co-chair of the Florida Bar International Law Section‘s Asia Committee. Additionally, Fred has been appointed to the steering committee for the next edition of iLaw, the International Law section’s premier annual conference, slated for February 16, 2024, in Miami.

Fred has also been elected to serve another term on the executive committee of the Washington State Bar Association’s (WSBA) International Practice Section. His renewed tenure with the WSBA commences on October 1, 2023, and will conclude on September 30, 2026. Fred has been a valued member of the Washington State International Practice Section’s executive committee since 2019.

Fred, a former U.S. diplomat, spearheads Harris Sliwoski’s international practice team. Before joining our firm, he spent over a decade abroad, guiding international companies in corporate and intellectual property matters. A significant portion of his legal pursuits centers on safeguarding the IP of globally-operating companies. Fred has championed brand protection endeavors across numerous Asian and Latin American nations and he is fluent in Chinese, Spanish, and English.
