About Emily
Emily serves as an international business and legal advisor in the Seattle office, where she contributes to our immigration, corporate, and China law practice groups. Her immigration work focuses on advising clients on visa applications for investors, students, and specialty occupation temporary workers. Emily is particularly adept at assisting Chinese clients in obtaining permanent residence and navigating the naturalization process in the U.S.
A licensed attorney in China, Emily has three years of experience practicing corporate and securities law in Shenzhen, where she conducted legal due diligence for pre-IPO companies, advised on M&A transactions, and drafted crucial transactional documents. Additionally, both in China and in the United States, she has reviewed and helped with providing legal opinions on corporate operations.
International Lawyer and Business Specialist
Having spent seven years studying and practicing law in China, coupled with earning an advanced U.S. legal degree, Emily is uniquely qualified to handle cases involving both Chinese and U.S. law. She recently passed the New York Bar Exam, further solidifying her capabilities in American legal practices.
Outside her professional life, Emily is an avid explorer of Washington State’s natural landscapes. She enjoys jogging, hiking, and engaging in various outdoor activities, embracing the rich environmental offerings of the region.
