China should send Chinese soccer players as diplomats to all the soccer powerhouses in the world in the same way they send diplomats. That will benefit Chinese soccer in the same way U.S. soccer has benefited significantly from sending our budding stars to European leagues. And from a geopolitical standpoint, the more Chinese nationals can be exposed to ideas and relationships outside China, the better our business and geopolitical relationships will be in the coming years and decades.
